Lufthansa has indicated that it is hoping for a November 13 deadline to conclude negotiations with its cabin crew that are striking over pay and conditions. However insiders say that negotiations are tough and mediation talks have nearly failed on several occasions. If the negotiations do fail, the airline may be affected by more strikes over the Christmas period.
