Lufthansa and Colombian flag carrier Avianca has signed a codesharing agreement. The deal, which was signed by Stefan Lauer, CEO group airlines and corporate human resources at Lufthansa and Fabio Villegas, chief executive officer Avianca, will enable Lufthansa to offer its passengers on its flights Frankfurt-Bogotá to connect with six new destinations in Colombia: Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali, Cartagena, Medellin and Pereira. In return, Avianca passengers can use their ticket on Lufthansa long-haul flights from Bogotá to Frankfurt.
