Lufthansa and its subsidiary Austrian Airlines have suspended flights to Irbil in Kurdish Northern Iraq until further notice.Lufthansa had previously suspended flights to Irbil last week due to safety concerns after the escalation of conflict in the region.Lufthansa also stated on Monday that all the airlines within Lufthansa Group would continue to avoid Iraqi airspace while transiting the region.
