LOST BOOKINGS COST AER LINGUS MORE THAN WET LEASED AIRCRAFT TO COVER STRIKE

Aer Lingus has stated that the losses it has incurred due to lost bookings because of the ongoing dispute over rosters, has far exceeded the cost of wet leasing aircraft. The trade union impact has estimated the cost of the wet leased aircraft as up to €400,000 a day.
