Airlines including Virgin Atlantic are being hit hard by the continued closure of London Gatwick due to snow. The airport was due to open this morning but further snow over night and due this morning forced the airport to close until tomorrow. The airport does not have the infrastructure by way of hotels to cope with passengers arriving there, and airlines will be hoping that passengers remain at home.
