Latest airline travel delays caused by Storm Boreas

FlightStats.com has reported that Storm Boreas has caused 6,048 delays and 271 cancellations as of 8:00 PM PST yesterday and has predicted a similar picture for today, which is the busiest travel day before Thanksgiving.

Atlanta airport has experienced the most delays today with 678 flights were delayed with 53 minutes average delay time. Charlotte reports 340 delays and 21 cancellations, with New York area airports posting 333 delays. Washington area airports have 362 delays.

Southwest is suffering the most from the storm with 1,397 delays but only two cancellations. Delta is approaching over 1,400 delays, while American has 708 delays and 33 cancellations.
