Kingfisher Airlines is reported to have shut down many operations.

Kingfisher is reported to have closed offices in: Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Ranchi, Patna, Amritsar, Bhubaneswar, Indore, Kochi, Nagpur, Coimbatore, Bagdogra, Trivandrum and Kochi. The airline has not yet, to our knowledge, informed its 7,000-strong workforce about these closures and it may be that nearly 50% of employees may be asked to leave. Shares of Kingfisher Airlines plunged over 6% on the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
