Kenya Airways employees will strike on Wednesday October, 13 after the airline’s management failed to conclude talks over pay and conditions of work. The Aviation and Allied Workers Union (AAWU) which has over 5,000 members drawn from Kenya Airways, Kenya Civil Aviation Authority and Kenya Airports Authority, among other aviation-related organisations, have vowed to down their tools after inconclusive talks on the collective bargaining agreement (CBA), which has been pending since 2008.
