Privately-owned Thai commuter airline Kan Air has reportedly acquired an ATR 72-500 on lease and is in negotiations to add two more to its fleet. The airline is also considering adding an A319 to its fleet, according to local news reports. Kan Air currently operates one ATR 72-500, a 12-seat single-engine Cessna Grand Caravan 208B turboprop and a Hawker Beechcraft Premier I. The second ATR 72-500 will be delivered to Kan Air in March, with the others due later this year.
