Chinese carrier Joy Air has signed an agreement with the AVIC/Xi’an Aircraft Company for 60 MA-Family aircraft, including 30 firm orders and options for 30 more. The deal is valued at 2.7 million yuan at list prices, which is the largest single order ever for the MA-Family aircraft.Deliveries of the 30 aircraft will commence from 2015, subject to approval by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), said AVIC. Joy Air currently has 8 MA60 turboprops in service on 31 routes.
