Thai charter operator Jet Asia Airways is set to commence scheduled services in September with flights from Bangkok to Tokyo Narita. Jet Asia intends to expand its new scheduled network to include China, South Korea and further Japanese cities, and expects the new services to contribute up to a third of the airline’s turnover within the first year of scheduled operations. The airline has set a revenue target of US$250 million for 2014, up from $100 million last year.
