JAZEERA CAPTURES MARKET SHARE IN MIDDLE EAST

Jazeera Airways has won a 19% share of travel between Bahrain and Kuwait, it claims in its February 2011 operational performance report. The airline operates 13 flights a week to Bahrain. The monthly operational performance report said the airline carried 28,141 passengers between Kuwait and the Levant region, 20,001 passengers between Kuwait and Egypt, and 38,843 passengers between Kuwait and other Gulf countries during February. The company has secured a month-on-month lead in market share since July 2009, thanks to its expanding value offering to customers.
