IRAN TO BUY USED AIRBUS TO GET AROUND SANCTIONS

Iran Aseman Airlines said it is in negotiations to buy six used A320s from an undisclosed seller to renew its fleet and improve safety because sanctions prohibit the purchase of new aircraft.

There is no access to foreign banks and export credit agencies, so Iran Aseman will be forced to pay for the A320s in cash.
