Speaking to IranTV, Secretary of the Association of Iranian Airlines Maqsoud As’adi-Samani, said that Iran is in talks with aircraft manufacturers from France, Brazil, Canada, Russia, Japan and China, which have all travelled to the country to introduce their products. “After the Vienna agreement, chief executives or sales managers of all aircraft manufacturers have visited Iran for negotiations on selling planes,” he told the Tasnim news agency. Iran has estimated that it needs between 400-500 new aircraft over the next decade.
