Inflight emergency forces Air France flight to land
An Air France flight bound for Miami from Paris Charles de Gaulle was forced to make an emergency landing after one of its passengers became ill, showing signs of a drug overdose. The 747-400 diverted to St John’s, NL in Canada, where the passenger was taken to a local hospital. The aircraft was allowed to depart in under two hours and reached Miami with a three hour delay.
