The government has told national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia that it has to explain why computer glitches led to dozens of flights being cancelled this week. The airline has until Friday to explain what caused the disruption of the airline’s IT system, how it was handled and how Garuda treated affected passengers. Enterprises minister Mustafa Abubakar said: “Whether it was caused by negligence, carelessness or maybe even intentionally done – I want this to be investigated thoroughly and I want the report to be submitted to me by Friday.”
