Frontier has announced an expansion to its services starting from June that includes Utah airport Provo Municipal Airport for the first time. Provo airport manager Steve Gleason is hopeful this is the start of more commercial airlines moving to the airport. “There are other airlines besides Frontier that are still interested in looking at some other destinations” from Provo, Gleason says. “So we would anticipate that happening, but again it’s going to depend on how well we support this flight.” However, Salt Lake City International, a large Delta hub, is just a 50-mile drive away from Provo Municipal.
