More strikes are planned by French trade unions plan in continuing protest against controversial new labour law reforms. The new round of strikes will target the transport system, with national railway services, the Paris Metro and ports all affected. Although not part of this new round of general union strikes, Air France pilots are planning new action in protest against the airline’s quoted “obsessive reduction of costs”.
