Raja Azmi, chief executive of Saudi budget airline, flynas, has stated that he aims to grow the airline by 20% a year and post a profit later this year following seven years of losses. “Until now we are actually not making a profit, but we hope to cross over this year. We have to grow very quickly and get critical mass,” he said. “We need to grow at least 20pc a year. We hope to make a profit this year – it won’t be much but it will be a profit.”
