Flydubai signs deal with Mercator’s SkyChain solution

Flydubai, Dubai’s low cost airline, has signed an agreement with technology provider Mercator to use its cargo solution, SkyChain, as well as revenue accounting services, using RAPID, to process and account for cargo transactions.
Both technologies enable the airline to optimize costs, increase operational efficiencies, and maximize revenues and profitability.
“Flydubai Cargo has been in demand since the day we launched and, with such a busy operation, we needed a technology partner that could keep up with demand,” said flydubai’s CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith.
“We aim to transport shipments to their destination quickly and cost-effectively with live updates available to customers and Mercator will help us to achieve this,” he added.
