After Air Southwest announcement that it will cease flying from Newquay and Plymouth airports to London Gatwick from February 1, Flybe has offered fly passengers for Newquay free of charge. A spokesman for Flybe said: “Following its decision to cease operating the London Gatwick service from Newquay and Plymouth, Air Southwest approached Flybe to re-accommodate affected passengers and Flybe is pleased to confirm that it has been able to do so.” The route serves more than 4,000 passengers that are expected to switch to Flybe’s Newquay to Gatwick service.
