Flybe hub at Manchester, England

Flybe says most of the flights in its domestic network will pass through Manchester from the end of this month. It is the first time that an airline has opened a hub at Manchester – and bosses there hope it will be another step to it becoming one of the world’s best airports. Last year, about 838,000 passengers flew from Manchester with Flybe. That figure is now expected to increase significantly with around 60 extra flights a week and better connections. Seven Flybe aircraft will now be based at Manchester – and there will be 12 extra weekday services to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Exeter and the Isle of Man
