Low-cost airline flyafrica Zimbabwe will commence operations with a relaunch scheduled within the next two weeks with a route from Harare to Bulawayo to Victoria Falls. The airline ceased all operations back in October 2015 after having its operating license withdrawn by the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe having failed to meet several regulations. The airline has remained grounded until now. Chairperson Cassidy Mugwagwa has invested R85 million into the airline ahead of the relaunch, with a Harare – Johannesburg route planned.
