Flyafrica prevented from commencing operations by Zimbabwe regulator

The Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ) has stopped LCC flyafrica from operating its maiden flight from Victoria Falls to Johannesburg, due to the CAAZ having revoked the South African flight crew’s licences. The airline said: “We are unclear as to the reasons why our original issued validations were withdrawn at such late notice, however, we are working with the CAAZ to understand this issue and to meet any requirements they need.”
