Finnair has reported a net profit of €32.4 million ($45 million) in the third quarter following a run of losses. The airline credited strong growth in business travel between Asia and Europe for the rise. Revenue was also up some 26% in the July to September period with €551 million. Last year it posted a net loss of €21 million. “The market situation has been clearly better than at the beginning of the year, which is evident in increasing demand and a sharp strengthening of unit revenues,” says CEO Mika Vehvilainen.
