Start-up low cost African airline FastJet, run by EasyJet founder Sir Stelios, has announced its base will be in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. FastJet will begin flights in November and will take delivery of its first Airbus A319 aircraft on lease from BBAM next month. The airline is currently hiring crew and ground staff.
