EUROPEAN AIRLINES REPORT TRAFFIC INCREASES FOR MARCH

Easyjet has reported a jump of 12% in its passenger figures for March over the same period in 2010. Ryanair’s figures are also up by 8%. International Airlines Group, British Airways and Iberia parent company, announced yesterday that its combined passenger traffic rose by 9% last month – with a 12% rise from BA pushing up the total figure. Iberia’s traffic rose only 2.7%. Business passenger numbers were up 18%.
