Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways has posted a 3% increase in its third-quarter revenues. Revenues were $1.1 billion in the quarter compared with $785 million posted during the same period last year. The airline did not disclose its quarterly loss but it reiterated that it remains on track to break-even this year. Yields were up 3.8% to 80.7% – the highest in any quarter since the airline began operations in late 2003. Passenger traffic was bolstered from its expanded network and growth in the Americas and Asia-Pacific markets.
