Ethiopian Airlines is planning on expanding its Indian operations. CEO Tewolde Gebremariam has confirmed that the airline is currently in talks with the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to launch flight operations to Chennai from Ethiopia. The airline currently operates 14 flights per week to Delhi and Mumbai. It also operates freighter services to Chennai, Bengaluru, New Delhi and Mumbai.
