Emirates Airline is planning to seek compensation from Airbus for the disruption and expected loss of revenue caused by groundings of its A380 while they are inspected for wing cracks and subsequently repaired. Last month EASA ordered inspections for all A380s for wing cracks. So far Emirates has found wing cracks on the 10 A380s that have been inspected and the airline expects all 21 in its fleet would need remedial work.
