to operate flights to Moscow from London. The airline is in talks with three London airports as potential locations for the route. The route is being contested however with both British Airways and Virgin Atlantic battling to win rights to the remaining flights from London to Moscow. easyJet believes it can lower fares to the route which has been traditionally dominated by the premium carriers. “We’ve proved over the years that when we enter a new market we open it up, bringing in competition and lower fares and enabling more people to travel on the route,” said an easyJet spokesperson.
