Delta to begin new nonstop service between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Mexico City

Delta, in conjunction with its partner Aeromexico, plans to launch a new nonstop service between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Mexico City in June 2019, subject to government approval.

“We’ve heard from our Twin Cities customers that Mexico City is at the top of their most requested destinations and this new service will give them just that and more,” said Steve Sear, Delta’s President — International and E.V.P. — Global Sales. “At the same time, it allows for more choice and options for customers in many U.S. and Canadian cities through one convenient, easy connection as well as easy connections to dozens of destinations in Mexico thanks to our partnership with Aeromexico.”

Service will be aboard Delta’s Airbus A319 aircraft with seating for 12 in First Class, 18 in Delta Comfort+ and 102 in the main cabin.

The new service will operate from June 8.
