Delta Air Lines has indicated it expects to report a profit tomorrow for the quarter after raising fares to cover the rising cost in fuel. American Airlines parent AMR Corp. reported a loss last week, but United Continental Holdings Inc. and US Airways Group Inc. both reported profits. Analysts expect Delta to report a profit of 46 cents per share on revenue of $9.16 billion. In the same period last year, Delta earned its largest quarterly profit in a decade — $467 million, or 55 cents per share. Revenue was up 17% to $8.17 billion.
