Air China has reported a slight decline in January passenger traffic, mainly because the 2015 Spring Festival was later than usual in 2014. Air China carried up to 6.73 million passengers, a decline of 1.8% compared to the year-ago period. The number of international passengers grew by 9.4% however to 776,900. ASKs grew by 5.1%, while RPKs dropped by 0.9%. Air China load factor dropped 4.6 percentage points to 76.5%, while the cargo load factor increased 3.5 percentage points to 53.7% in January.
