Cyprus-based start-up low-cost airline, Cobalt, has received an Air Operator Certificate after a test flight with its first A320 from Larnaca to Iraklio. The carrier will begins passenger flights to Greece and Britain from June, beginning with a Larnaca-Athens routes on June 1. Cobalt intends to operate a fleet of four aircraft from Larnaca, eventually to destinations in Israel, Lebanon, Russia, Iran and Egypt.
