Cobalt aims to revive Cyprus traffic

Cobalt is a new low-cost airline based in Cyprus which intends to launch next month. The new airline has ambitions to become the new national airlines in the city, using Larnaca as the main regional airport hub serving Europe and the Middle East.
Cobalt, which is funded by local and Chinese investors, plans to fly to eight destinations in Britain, Ireland and Greece. The intention is to have a fleet of eight aircraft by September, with another eight by 2017, to be able to expand the network out to Israel, Iran and Asian destinations.
