China Southern Airlines is ceasing flights to the Philippines due to falling tourist demand as tensions rise in the South China Sea. The airline will reduce the number of its flights between Guangzhou city and Manila to just one a day on certain dates from May 26 to June 30. The airline normally operates two flights daily on the route.
