China Eastern Spring Festival traffic up 7.3%

During the Spring Festival travel period from February 4 to March 15, China Eastern Airlines (MU) carried a record 10.36 million people.  The airline reported a 7.3% increase in aircraft movements during period. China Eastern also carried nearly 1.75 million passengers and 12,000 aircraft takeoffs and landings during the week-long Chinese Lunar New Year holiday on Feb. 18-24.
