Taiwanese airline TransAsia Airways has begun Taipei- Singapore services from Changi Airport. The first a daily return service touched down on June 30 with the return flight leaving on Saturday morning. This is the sixth airline to run flights between the two destinations with some 60 flights a week now scheduled. The others are Taiwan’s China Airlines and Eva Air, and Singapore-based Jetstar Asia, Singapore Airlines and Tiger Airways. TransAsia will operate the A320 aircraft in a two-class configuration on the Taipei- Singapore route.
