Cathay Pacific has stated that it is considering operating the Airbus A380 on its long-haul routes to the US, Europe and Australia to avoid airport congestion. John Slosar, chief operating officer of Cathay made the comments at the launch of the airline’s new business class seating and cabin for the 777. Slosar said that while he is pleased with the Boeing 777 and the expected delivery of 30 Airbus A350, the airline has not ruled out the A380.
