CATHAY APPEALS AGAINST EC CARTEL FINE

Cathay Pacific has filed an appeal against the £57.1 million fine imposed by the European Commission (EC) for being involved in an illegal cartel. Although the airline was found guilty along with ten other airlines for conspiring on cargo prices, a spokesperson for Cathay said they believed it has a good case for appeal. No further details were released, however.
