WestJet and Air Canada have both announced they carried more passengers in November compared with the same month last year. WestJet Airlines had the biggest gains and its planes flew 77.7% full in November, a record for the month. WestJet as revenue passenger miles rose 17.9%, while available seat miles were up 15.3%. Air Canada flew 74.8% full, with traffic numbers up 7.5% to 3.4 billion. Capacity rose 7.3% to 4.6 billion. Pacific traffic saw the biggest increase with a 19% rise.
