CAMAIR TAKES OFF

Cameroon’s new national flag carrier Camair-Co (Cameroon Airlines Corporation) began operations yesterday with the airline’s inaugural flight to Paris. Camair-Co plans to serve both domestic and international destinations under the airline code QC. From Douala there will be scheduled flights to Maroua and Garoua in Cameroon. The international flight program will include Paris – via the country’s capital city Yaoundé – and N’Djamena in Chad. The carrier started operations with a Boeing 767-300ER, with a seat capacity of 210, and a 737-700 with 128 seats.
