British Airways has announced it plans to recruit 800 new pilots by 2016 via three recruitment programmes. The UK flag carrier aims to launch a joint initiative with the UK armed forces to tap into military pilot talent, while hiring from other airlines and training new pilots under its “Future Pilot Programme”.
