Belarus airline takes shape

Turkish investor AIC Group has expressed interested to take part in the project to set up a new airline in Belarus. AIC Group has been in discussions with the Department of Aviation of the Transport and Communications Ministry of Belarus to assist with the development of regional airports (Brest and Grodno), Minsk National Airport, and a new Belarusian airline

The Turkish investor is reported to be ready to partake in the project to upgrade the existing terminal at Minsk National Airport and construct another one, and develop a residential area with the social infrastructure for 20,000 people. The company also showed interest in developing an international freight terminal at Brest Airport. The parties agreed to set up three joint working groups regarding the development of a new airline, Minsk National Airport and regional airports.
