ANA FIGURES SHOW ¥53.8 BILLION PROFIT

ANA has revised its profit forecast for the full year to ¥6 billion from ¥5 billion previously as figures improve. ANA Group has reported net income of ¥18.47 billion ($220 million) for Q2 2010 from ¥3.8 billion for the same period last year. Operating revenues climbed over 10% to ¥372.2 billion while operating expenses rose just 1.4% to ¥323.4 billion. Operating profit came in at ¥53.8 billion, from ¥14.1 billion for the same period last year. ¥14.1 billion was erased from the figures due to fines from antitrust investigations into airline price-fixing.
