American Airlines Group has won the right to launch daily services between Los Angeles and Tokyo Haneda Airport beginning in October 2015. The slot opened up when Delta decided to end a Seattle-to-Haneda route after the Department of Transportation required the carrier to increase the frequency of flights out of Haneda.
