AIRTRAN’S FLIGHT ATTENDANTS APPROVED OVERWHELMINGLY A NEW TWO-YEAR CONTRACT WITH THE AIRLINE

Some 96% of voting members were in favor of the agreement between the airline and the Association of Flight Attendants which will come into effect on 1st May 2011. The agreement provides for increased compensation, improved benefits and preservation of key service and reliability functions, the Orlando-based airline said. The union represents more than 2,200 flight attendants.
