Airbus predicts that between 2012 and 2031, 28,000 new fuel efficient aircraft will be needed to keep up with rising demand. Within the next two decades, some 10, 350 aircraft will be substituted with new efficient replacements and by the distant 2031, the worldwide aircraft fleet will have expanded by 110% to cope with the rapidly and continuing expanse in world population. “Asia Pacific will account for 35 percent of all new aircraft deliveries, followed by Europe and North America with 21 percent each. In value terms, the single biggest market is China followed by the US, UAE and India,”
