Air Mauritius has reported a marked turnaround in profits following a €10 million loss for the first quarter of 2015. For the same period this year, the airline has posted a €2 million profit thanks to favorable fuel prices, cost cuts, improved load factors to 77.2%, and growing traffic numbers from and to China. Yields fell during the past quarter however by over 5% despite a 9% rise in passenger numbers, which outstripped the 7% rise in capacity.
